About May

I don’t find myself that interesting. I’m fairly ordinary. I don’t really have anything particularly insightful or important to say, but I often find myself wanting to keep track of my thoughts. So this is really for me. I’m 36 this year. I’m not where I thought I’d be 10 years ago, but I’ve made peace with it.

I have a cat that just turned 5. I took her in at a time of transition, realizing that I needed to make a choice, and drive my stake in the ground about where my life was going to be. She’s the best sidekick I could ever ask for. And she’s pretty chill considering the below image.

I’m a native Angeleno (Mid-City West – Picfair Village) who is actually from LA, and not some outlying city that “LA” as a broad term just seems to summarize for those not from here. I’m terrified of large earthquakes (thanks to the 1994 Northridge Earthquake) and open water.

I don’t believe in the paranormal, but I love horror films and ghost stories.

I love video games. Red Dead Redemption (both) are my favorite games, and I generally prefer that type of open world video game (The Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, etc.). I like to explore a lot. Fun fact: Even though I don’t generally play battle royale-type games, in my very first PUBG match (which was also solo), I got 2nd place!
